Ignite Welcomes Rick Wright as a Missile Defense Program Manager

May 20, 2025 – Ignite is pleased to welcome Mr. Rick Wright as a Missile Defense Program Manager. Mr. Wright joins Ignite through the company’s recent acquisition of Reliant Technologies.

Mr. Wright brings over 25 years of management and engineering experience to the team, including support to the Missile Defense Agency for 20 years and PEO Aviation for 3 years. He brings extensive experience in systems engineering, testing and integration, risk management, acquisition management, and business/financial management.

Currently, Rick supports the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Project Office, focusing on vehicle-level qualification and acceptance testing requirements and execution on the path to detailed design and the initial product baseline.

Rick received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
