Ignite Welcomes Mike Self a Director, NASA Programs

June 17, 2025 – Ignite is pleased to welcome Mr. Mike Self to the team as a Director over NASA Programs. Mr. Self joins Ignite through their recent acquisition of Reliant Technologies.

Mr. Self has over 38 years of experience providing technical support for numerous NASA and Defense programs and projects. With more than 15 years in leaderships roles, he has specialized in programmatic support, offering guidance in project planning and scheduling. Mike has provided valuable support to most of the NASA flag ship programs over the last two decades to include Shuttle Program, Constellation Program/Ares Project, International Space Station (ISS) and Space Launch Systems (SLS).

Mike graduated from Auburn University with an Education degree. Prior to his roles in government contract support, he was a high school math teacher
