Ignite Welcomes John Smith as Director

Ignite is pleased to welcome Mr. John Smith to our team as Director over our Army Programs. Mr. Smith joins Ignite through the recent acquisition of Reliant Technologies.

Mr. Smith has served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 40+ years of experience in system acquisition, systems engineering, risk management, and project integration. With his 20+ years of civil servant experience with the US Army for Aviation and Missile Command, he served as a systems engineering SME and supervisor of technology development programs. His most recent responsibilities included research, development, and implementation of the Logistics Engineering Laboratory (Log Lab).

John currently provides program integration SME for the Missile Defense Agency for the Next Generation Inceptor (NGI) program.

Mr. Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems/Industrial Engineering from Auburn University.
