What’s a Moment from Your Service That Stands Out to You?
“9/11,” said Ronda. “After 9/11, I saw America change from being passive to becoming patriotic. I saw the U.S. Air Force vamp up, pack up, train, and deploy in a matter of days. I developed a passion for my patriotism.”
Personal Connection
Ronda’s desire to leave behind a poverty-stricken life and obtain a college education inspired her to join the military.
What Did Being a Warfighter Mean to You Personally?
“It means doing what others are afraid to do, wouldn’t dare to do to, and what others can’t do. That’s what separates a Warfighter from a civilian.”
Lessons & Values
“I’ve learned to be genuine, honest, and candid with the people that I lead,” said Ronda. She also learned how valuable keeping a positive attitude is during her time in service.
“Keep fighting, no matter what.”

How Did Your Military Experience Prepare You for Your Role at Ignite?
